Sydney grew up very active. As a child, she played various sports (tennis, baseball and basketball) roller-bladed, climbed trees, jumped rope, just about every activity imaginable. Sydney graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2007 with a double minor in Group Fitness Instruction and Personal Training. Diagnosed with Degenerative Disc Disease and Facet Joint Arthritis, she moved back to her hometown of San Diego to heal. She took up yoga, learning Iyengar, Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Sivananda and searched for the right healers to help her. Sydney utilizes all that she has learned, and continues to learn through research, education and practical experience to work with her own clients. Through proper nutrition, postural alignment, yoga, strength training and stress management, Sydney is able to manage her chronic pain and in turn continue her dream of helping individuals lead healthier lives!
